TBF LOOK OF THE DAY: Le Ninja Grey V-neck T-shirt with Blue Blazer

Last month, Le Ninja was generous enough to contact bloggers through Twitter and offer us the opportunity to wear their t-shirts. Being the "broke" fashionista that I am, I jumped at the chance of course (read old post here). The shirt arrived a while ago but I only had the chance to wear it recently. With the color I chose being so neutral, I decided to pair it up with an electric blue blazer. I chose gray for this exact reason as I am anxious to wear it under my hot pink and red blazers too.

If you are planning to purchase a shirt from them, you should know that they are one of the few companies I know that really means what they say when they call their shirts "small", "medium" or "large". I have a bit of a complex as I am used to so many clothing companies calling their "medium" a size Large so I'm used to get a size L (or even XL :p) even though I consider myself a medium. When you purchase from Le Ninja, be honest with your size and avoid getting a size larger than what you normally are to avoid looking like a rapper (unless that's what you're going for).

As you can see from the packaging, Le Ninja takes great care with their product and shipment. I especially appreciate the little note inside and the 10% discount for my next purchase guys.Till next time, this ninja is out!

Feeling like I need to do karate chop something,

TBF SHOPS: Forever21 Gives to JAPAN!

Of course I had to get a little somethin' somethin' for my hubby <3

Prior to crossing the border today, I got a mention from m.bellish via Twitter that Forever21 would be giving 100% of every dollar spent online toward the earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan.

How amazing is that? If you've been reading my blog long enough or know me personally, you know my addiction with shopping at Forever21 and even more, how much I absolutely LOVE Japan. So naturally, I jumped at this opportunity to be able to shop and give at the same time. The images above are some of the purchases I made - some of them have actually been sold out since my purchase and are no longer on the site - YAY!

As a consumer, I've never seen something as thoughtful and generous as what Forever21 has done today. I hope it serves as an example to other stores of how they can use their power for good by working together with their customers to help the rest of the world.

Thankful for my blessings in order to bless others,
Justine

SHOPPING: Le Ninja T-shirts

What I love most about Twitter is the chance to discover and connect with other bloggers and companies - whether they're related to fashion or not. But this entry isn't about Twitter. It's about one of the gems that I found, which is this fresh t-shirt company called Le Ninja.

I have nothing against products that are made in foreign countries but there is just something reassuring about the quality produced here in Canada or in the case of Le Ninja products, made in (our next door neighbor) the US of A. For now, their online store is selling wonderful t-shirts with (duh) a silhouette of a cute little ninja but soon enough they'll also be selling knits, polo shirts, woven shirts, shorts, and trousers.

I ordered one of their special Swarovski V-neck shirts which promises to be as soft and comfy as it is luxurious (who knew you could even weave crystals into fabric?!). I can't wait to receive it! Stay tuned for an update :)

Anxiously waiting,
Justine
